I wanted to let you know about a few additions and changes we made yesterday. Now, on any Producer Rewards video, you can now see the date the video was originally submitted – not just the date it was released to the site. Thanks for the suggestion, wweforumz and CarlosB!
When you click on the video, inside the Producer box you can now see the original submission date. This is what it looks like:

As most of you probably noticed, we made a major change to the site this weekend: Metacafe has become more personalized and internationalized.
What do I mean? Well, in addition to the great English-language videos that you have been seeing on the site, now you can watch videos from your own country and in your own language. This change was automatic for you, but you can reverse it or make whatever changes you’d like – and it’s very simple.

I wanted to thank you all for your participation in the Valentine’s Day video event. We had a great response, with many videos submitted, and scores of video cards sent out.
We have begun the process of sifting through the videos to see which qualify, and the raffle will be held at the end of the month. We will be announcing the winning video very soon, so stay tuned!

Metacafe has just launched it’s Valentine’s Day raffle. You too can be Cupid with a camcorder.
All you need to do is go to this page and upload a video you’ve made with the Valentine’s Day theme.
It can be funny. It can be romantic. It can even be a marriage proposal or footage from your wedding.
When you’re done, send it to off.
Every eligible entry will be entered in a raffle. The more videos you submit -the greater your chances of winning! Don’t forget to tag the video with “valentine” (without quotes).
