Online Video Contest – Calling all Comedians!
Are you a funny person? Metacafe is hosting an online video contest – we’re seeking original comedy videos… stand-up comedy video or other comedic performance by a person, such as a joke, anecdote or comedy sketch. Here’s a brief rundown of the contest details:
- Videos must be at least 15 seconds long, but 2 minutes max.
- Submissions close on August 6th at 11:59 p.m. PT.
- One winner – based on VideoRank – will receive a weekend for 2 in LA
- $1000 American Airlines gift card
- Two (2) nights at The Standard Hotel in Hollywood, King room
- $150 gift card good for redemption at BOA Steakhouse/Sushi Roku/Katana
- 2 tickets for a show at The Comedy Store
- $500 cash

I’m really excited about this contest, and look forward to seeing all the submissions! I just hope the movie isn’t a complete flop. Seth Rogen and Adam Sandler seem like a really good combination.

Wow, nice prices, I’ve been in The Standard Hotel last year and all I can say is that it’s really a wonderful place to stay. Goodluck to everyone who’s joining. I will surely watch out for those videos and have my self a good laugh.

Good Luck to those who will join! please share to us the winning videos. I like watching funny staff when I’m stressed. It wipes away everything. Nice prizes. I hope soon metacafe will open a contest not limited to US.

Would be so typical that the movie sucks.. They just show all the funniest moments in the teaser to make it look funny, and then it turns out that the moments in the teaser are the ONLY fun parts in the entire movie. Wouldn`t surprise me..
Yeah yeah, I`m just saying it to keep my own expectations down. Dude, this film`s gonna be hilarious! I mean, Sandler AND Rogen! =D

Im a big movie buff, so Im always on the lookout for more cool movies, video clips, or whatever to entertain myself. So Im waiting for something good here, I hope
